The Booking manager at Stephen F Austin, Rodney has been professional and helpful but ultimately appears to have his hands tied with rectifying the situation. I have opened a fraud claim with BofA in hopes of rectifying. I recognize that Coronavirus led to a very difficult situation with the hotels, but IHG should be ashamed regarding their selection of booking partners and lack of controls around rectifying/refunding customers. The location is perfect - walking distance to town center but not on the main road. Wendy was very helpful on finding out the ski information for us. We will definitely come back if we go Mt Hutt next time. Bill I liked the friendly welcome and the friendly vibe from the other backpackers. It was good to store my snowboard in their locked shed for the night.
