Ok so on the St. Lawrence Seaway there is an area called 'thousand islands'. It's a beautiful area and the islands are in-between Canada and the US and there is a bridge crossing between the two countries close by. On Canada's side you have several big cities within driving range, which include Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto. On the US side.. as close but you have within range the whole north eastern set of states within somewhat a close range. New York state is the state that the thousand island area shares the border with. If we have any sailing fans this may also be great cuz once you get through the seaway you get out to the Atlantic ocean and going down the seaway you get access to the great lakes. If anyone shows interesting in this as a potential area to look into I'll do some reasearch into property values and costs and whatnot. Here is a link to the tourism information website.
