Lots of stairs to the property and to the appartment. Made significant by foot injury accquired on the journey. Not suitable for those with limited mobility and heavy luggage. Modern, clean and spacious apartment with three bathrooms between six of us. In safe and secure apartment complex in ideal location, a short walk from the Royal Mile and Waverley Station. Would stay again. Exceptionally clean, perfect location with walking distance to everywhere, lots of space, easy parking, nicely furnished! Really good value for money! Nice apartment, clean and tidy, facilities were good, good location, close to Waverley Train Station and Royal Mile & the stop for the hop on hop off bus. Key was easy to find, apartment was a little harder to find as some of the numbers were missing. The down side of being close to the train station is the bedroom windows rattled every time a train went past. Also there is a big construction site right next door, so it was a little loud at times. Not the fault of Royal Mile at all, but a bit going on.

It is also a pleasant five minute walk to the Torrens Valley Institute, Tea Tree Gully Campus and other tertiary campuses are easily accessible.
Certain areas on the pans are designated for anglers to enjoy excellent fishing opportunities for carp, barbel and yellowfish. Boating opportunities are offered and a number of photographers hides are available. Bird-Life The Barberspan Bird Sanctuary is probably unique in South Africa, and indeed the world, for the sheer numbers and variety of birds to be seen on the pans. 365 species have been recorded, including a number of rare migrants, making Barberspan an essential stopover for all birders. Pelicans and flamingo, grebes, terns, herons, cranes, ibis and bitterns to mention just a few. All but one of the South African duck species have been recorded at the pans. Super clean, walking distance to town, our host Teresa could not do enough for us. Breakfasts were beautiful, fresh bread every morning. Mince pies and Christmas cake on arrival! All the little touches in the room were superb-chocolates by bedside, fresh towels every day and toiletries included. Teresa offered us lifts up town and let us check out later than check out time. Best B&B we have stayed in! Stayed here for a wedding taking place in local hotel and the rooms were nicer than the hotel rooms which we saw through other guests. Could not recommend enough!
